Endometriosis, PCOS and painful periods: understand your health to act with precision
A tailored nutritional, micronutritional and functional approach to address factors that may contribute to your symptoms.
Disabling period pain, irregular cycles, persistent fatigue, digestive issues, bloating or mood changes should never be dismissed.
A French study of 21,287 women aged 18 to 49 found that 39.8% reported moderate to severe menstrual pain. Among women aged 18 to 24, 20.3% reported severe pain. For some women I have supported, symptoms occupied more than a third of each cycle.
Endometriosis is estimated to affect 5–10% of women of reproductive age. For PCOS — renamed polyendocrine metabolic ovarian syndrome (PMOS/SMOP) in May 2026 — estimates vary with diagnostic criteria. A recent international meta-analysis places prevalence at 7.9–12.1% among adult women.
These conditions can look very different from one woman to another. That is why I offer neither a universal protocol nor a simple list of foods to remove.
MY WORK BEGINS WHERE GENERAL ADVICE IS NO LONGER ENOUGH
A complex hormonal concern involves more than hormones alone.
Pain, inflammation, digestion, the microbiome, insulin sensitivity, micronutrient status, sleep, physiological stress and environmental exposures can influence one another.
I seek to understand exactly what may be sustaining your situation and to build a strategy that fits your physiology, history and daily life.
I EXAMINE IN PARTICULAR
• your symptom history and how it changes through the cycle;
• the location, intensity and frequency of pain;
• cycle regularity and bleeding patterns;
• digestion, bowel habits and signs of microbiome imbalance;
• your actual diet and response to different foods;
• energy, sleep and mood changes;
• metabolic factors, including blood sugar and insulin sensitivity;
• micronutrient deficiencies or excesses that may affect balance;
• modifiable inflammatory and environmental factors.
A STRATEGY BUILT FOR YOU
Depending on your profile, support may include:
• a personalized, realistic therapeutic diet;
• precisely adjusted micronutrition;
• targeted work on digestion and the microbiome;
• a metabolic and anti-inflammatory strategy;
• carefully selected herbal approaches;
• specific exercises addressing the pelvic region and viscera;
• gradual adjustments evaluated against your responses and results.
The aim is to address factors that may sustain symptoms and restore more stable functioning.
CONCRETE, MEASURABLE GOALS
Depending on your situation, I may track:
• changes in pain intensity and frequency;
• use of pain medication;
• digestive comfort and reduced bloating;
• sleep quality and energy;
• cycle regularity;
• comfort during sex;
• changes in acne, cravings or weight fluctuations where relevant;
• your ability to live without organizing everyday life around symptoms.
Each change is observed, measured and used to adapt the strategy.
YOU ARE NOT “TOO SENSITIVE”
Pain that prevents you from working, sleeping, moving or living normally deserves to be taken seriously.
My role is to listen carefully, analyze your situation without minimizing what you feel and offer a personalized path that is understandable, workable and focused on meaningful results.
